ETYMOLOGY: The origin of this species’ epithet is unknwon but likely comes from the Javanese male name Bisma, meaning remarkable. This name can also be traced to the Urdu word Bisma (بسمہ), which is a common name for girls, meaning “significant, caregiver, polite, or obedient”
