ALOCASIA ‘GREEN PEGASUS’

Alocasia azlanii x Alocasia chaii

PARENTAGE: Alocasia azlanii x Alocasia chaii(pollen)

HYBRIDIZER: Lindsay Sisti (@alltheplantbabies)

VARIEGATION: N/A

DESCRIPTION:

Similar to Alocasia ‘Green Unicorn’, this hybrid has green leaves which are glabrous and glossy, grenish white abaxial veins and margins are light yellow green. It differs by having much longer and often broader leaves, likely influenced by the Alocasia chaii parentage.

Another distinguishing characteristic is the lightly mottled petioles, which are also found in Alocasia chaii (Alocasia ‘Green Unicorn’ takes after Alocasia azlanii and has smooth green petioles)

Lindsay Sisti also notes it is not as prolific of a grower as Alocasia ‘Green Unicorn’
