DESCRIPTION: While no photos or illustrations of this hybrid exist, it is notable due to it containing the genetics of three other two species and two additional cultivars of Alocasia longiloba, making it one of the most complex documented Alocasia hybrid

"Alocasia ‘Subodora’ Engl. et Krause (A. odora x A. argyrea). — The leaves are petiolate, cylindrical, about 6–8 cm long, leaf bases 2–2.5 cm across, leaf surface glossy, primary lateral nerves sometimes absent in the middle area, the underside a bit reddish, ovate-cordate, 3.5–5 cm long, 2.5–3.6 cm wide, anterior lobes ovate and with a sharp angle.

Peduncles are slender, cylindrical, 4.5–6 cm long, 4–6 mm thick. Spathe tube is green, ovoid, 3–3.5 cm long, 1.5 cm in diameter; spathe blade oblong ovate, 4.5 cm long, approximately 2.8–5 cm wide. The spadix is briefly oblique-stipitate; the female inflorescence is cylindrical, 1.8–2.2 cm long, the male part is 3–3.5 cm long with a sterile zone that is slightly longer in between; appendage sterility subdued, approximately 6 cm long, attenuated on both ends.”
